Short Tutorial
Here are some basics to know while playing Stellar State game.

Just drag Rockets upon enemy units and Power Shields upon yours and push the Next Fight button (check the pic below).
You can use Rockets and Shields as long as you have energy.
The battle will go until the last fight.
To win you should get most units.
If the planet is already occupied you should destroy the capital till the end of battle. To win you should get most units.
You have opportunity to destroy it only in the last fight, when enemy does not defend it with Power Shield.
It is best to attack with two Rockets per fight but you are free to improvise.
You cannot defend your units while attacking the occupied planet, only attack.
If you are defender of the planet you should save the capital until the last fight.
You cannot defend yout capital unit.
It is better to use few energy (1-2) in the first fights.
Do not let enemy to get any units near the capital until the penultimate fight.
Do not let enemy to get all units near capital in the last fight.
Some tactical tips
You better left at least 2-3 energy for last fight (of course it depends on current score).
Try to destroy the enemy units inside of your territory, it is more effective to defend borders than reflect attacks from inside.
Close to the end of battle it is better to attack enemy who competes with you for victory.
Don't let the enemy surround your units cause in this case you lose them automatically.
Accordingly if ever convenient try to surround enemy units.
If you are losing the battle try to not let to win the enemy who is about to conquer the planet.
For example the Green Leafs will conquer the planet in case of victory in next battle, so don't let them to get it.
